So, here it is at last! What better way to ring in the New Year than to submit the wedding collage that I spent all Winter painting for my widdle sister Michelle and her new hubby Jason. Needless to say, a painting this size was a massive undertaking - four times bigger than anything I've done before. It was so big that I had to split it into four quarters to paint before reassembling it. Most of the images here are based on photos from Jason and Michelle's Facebook profiles that my mum picked out for me. It was as much fun to paint as it was hard work, and I cannot be more pleased with the result. The canvas was a big surprise at the wedding and got a lot of praise. I usually display my artwork online, so it was a delight to see people crowd around to get a look at it. (The receptionist even brought an easel on which to prop it.) Well, now it's in Jason and Michelle's hands and I hope it makes a great display piece in their Californian home. Michelle says that she's going to hang it over her couch - and take down Jason's framed wedding proposal too. Ouch!

Wow, Glitcher, that looks absolutely amazing. The amount of details and the colouring is mindblowing. I have no doubt that your sister and her husband were over the moon with such an awesome gift.
Best fanart anyone could ask for!
