Spare a Thought

A little late in a the day, but here's my Christmas picture for 2011.

The idea behind this probably stems from my current situation this year. This is my first Christmas away from the family, and part of that is reflected in the Servbot staring longingly outside the window. I still had a grand Christmas dinner with my landlord and his guests, although I am feeling a bit subdued compared to the celebrations I'm used to at this time of year. I hope I'm able to make a better living so that I can have Christmas in style for 2012 - providing the world hasn't come to an end yet.

I rushed like crazy on this pic and didn't give it nearly as much focus as I should. It's a shame, because the colours on the background turned out quite nice, but I did a very hasty job of painting Megsy, Roll and Data. I didn't even have time to add Barrel to the scene. Remind me next year to prepare these things way in advance and stop playing video games while I'm at it.
